Computer-based diagnostics (reading data from control units)

During diagnostics, we use diagnostic equipment to read fault codes from the vehicle’s control units. Based on this information, we are able to determine the likely cause of the problem and suggest the next steps – ranging from further checks to specific repairs.
Mechanical diagnostics: visual and manual

Not all faults are limited to the electronics. For mechanical components, we begin with a visual inspection, followed by a manual check. Typically, we look for play and other faults that may manifest as noises, erratic behaviour of the vehicle or reduced functionality.
Diagnosis and repairs of electrical systems

We are able to diagnose electrical faults to a reasonable extent, particularly in wiring harnesses and related parts of the system. If the problem lies directly with the control unit, we work with an external workshop that has long specialised in control unit repairs. Once repaired, we reinstall the unit in the vehicle and check that it is working properly.
Wiring harnesses: locating wire breaks and repairs

For wiring harnesses, we are able to locate the exact point of a wire break and carry out the repair or select a suitable repair solution. In extreme cases, we also replace the wiring harnesses for specific components.
